Obituary of Carmine Darcangelo Carmine J. Darcangelo, age 86, of Corning, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on January 11, 1932 in Corning, NY, the son of Domenic and Anna (Sabarese) Darcangelo. Carmine graduated from Northside High School and the University of Buffalo.

He was a communicant of All Saints Parish and he retired from the US Treasury. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Joseph Nixon of Boca Raton, FL, a sister-in-law, Virginia Darcangelo of Corning NY and several nieces and nephews. Carmine was predeceased by his sisters, Rose Darcangelo, Mary Russo, Teresa Yorio, Lucy Bevilacqua, and Julia Darcangelo and his brothers, Albert, Joseph, Edward, and Daniel Darcangelo.

It was Carmine’s wish that there be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 9:30 am St. Vincent De Paul Church, 222 Dodge Avenue, Corning. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
