Obituary for Ed C. Felske Jr. “Ed” Edgar C. Felske, Jr., 81 of Grand Island died Saturday, June 2, 2018. Celebration of life service will be 11 AM Wednesday, June 6th in the Gollaher Chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church. Reverend Kelly Karges will officiate.

Burial of Ed’s and Lola’s ashes will be in the Grand Island Cemetery. Gathering of family and friends will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Ed was born January 19, 1937 at Grand Island the son of Edgar and Anna (Bartlet) Felske.

He graduated from Grand Island Senior High class of 1956. On August 21, 1964 he was united in marriage to Lola Jefferson. They made their home in Grand Island where he worked for the Grand Island Independent for 42 years.

He is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bowling and served as the executive director for the State Bowling Association of Nebraska. Ed was inducted into the Nebraska Bowling Hall of Fame in 1991.

He loved watching baseball and enjoyed westerns. Survivors include his sons, Stephen (Randa) Felske of Grand Island and David (Jody) Felske of Thornton, Colorado; granddaughters, Tamara Felske and Alyssa Felske; his sister, Elaine Sinsel of Grand Island and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Lola on October 26, 2015.
