Obituary for Mrs. Edith Lois Corn Moore Edith Lois Corn Moore, 89, wife of Emery Moore, Jr., of Athens, GA, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. A native of Dahlonega, GA, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late John Henry and Cora Mote Corn. She retired after 32 years of employment in the food industry in Elyria, OH.

Mrs. Moore was known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband of 68 years, Mrs. Moore is survived by her children: Rebecca Moore of Athens, GA, Tim Moore (Cindy) of Seattle, WA, and Bonnie Reed (Marvin) of Danielsville, GA; grandchildren: Joy King (Adam), Amy Thomas (Sean), Chris Moore (Katie), Molly Moore and Maggie Sharma (Bhisham); seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by eleven siblings.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel in West Union, SC, with a private burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home in West Union, SC. The family is at their respective homes.
