Obituary for Mrs. Marion Ola Pearson Marion Ola Pearson, 72, of 129 North Lovingood Avenue, Walhalla, SC, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018, at GHS Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Tamassee, SC, Mrs. Pearson was the daughter of the late Jess Rose and Viola Crane Lay. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by a daughter: Belinda Pearson of Salem, SC; brothers: Mason Lay and Rufus Lay; sisters: Dorothy Poore and Ruth Stegall; granddaughter: Amber Chivon Kimmel; and great-grandchildren: Kadence Cooper, Lindsy Kimmel, Melody Kimmel and Bailey Kimmel. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by brothers: Verner Lay, Ray Lay, Christopher Lay and Clyde Lay; and sisters: Sarah White, Margaret Lay, Pauline Murphy, Margie Phillips, Ruby Dills, Carolyn Heaton and Beatrice Kelley. A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home.
