Obituary for Edna Mae Roberts Mack Edna Roberts Mack loving wife and mother was summoned to rest October 6, 2018. Edna was born August 19, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to the (Late) Reverend Leon and Ruth (Givens) Roberts. Edna retired from the United States Postal Service with over 30 years of service.

She is a member of New Home Family Church. Edna is known for her passionate prayer life, desire and willingness to help people in need. She fed the homeless, visited the sick and donated to Habitat for Humanities.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Charles, Terry, Ricky and one sister Linda. Edna is survived by her husband Henry Mack, her daughter Denise (Charles) Doyle Burse and her two sons Isaac Doyle and Jason (Candice)Halley, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and ten siblings: Carolyn(John)Markham , Donald (Zella)Roberts, Rita (Thomas) Ward, Lelia (Samuel) Scott, Yolanda, Melvin, John, Milton, Kenneth and Peter Roberts. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish in her memory.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of New Home Baptist Church are invited to attend a Funeral Service at New Home Baptist Church, 1616 Robert C. Blake Drive, N.O., LA. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.

Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1020 Virgil St., Gretna, LA. 70053.
