Reichwaldt A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Lauber Funeral Home, Milford with Rev. Steve Stork officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Rural Milford. Memorials may be directed in care of the family. Elmer J. Reichwaldt, 76, of Lincoln, formerly of Milford, died Saturday, at Gateway Vista in Lincoln.

He was born on January 29, 1943 to Edward Elmer and Goldie (Birky) Reichwaldt, the oldest of three children. As a young boy Elmer attended public school and graduated with the class of 1961 from Milford High School. As a young man, he was baptized and confirmed in the 1960’s through the Wisconsin Synod Lutheran faith in Milford by Rev.

Fry. Elmer was united in marriage at the Wisconsin Synod Lutheran Church in Milford to Barbara Kane in May of 1963 and to this union three children were born: Valorie, Anthony and Richard. Through the years, Elmer worked various jobs as a construction laborer, as a brick mason and operating bobcats and small cranes.

Elmer was employed at Jed Construction in Lincoln prior to his retirement. Elmer is survived by his children, Valorie L. Medley, Tony Reichwaldt and Richard Reichwaldt, all of Lincoln, Michael Reichwaldt, Apple Valley, MN, seven grandchildren, Josh Webb, John Medley, Matthew Stickney, Chelsea, Alicia and Nick Reichwaldt, three great grandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Jack Morris, Colorado Springs, CO, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara in 2012, parents and an infant sister, Peggy Jean.
