Obituary for Evelin “Toots” Bruce (Taylor) Evelin Mildred “Toots” Bruce Age 88 of Hartland, MI passed away at her home on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was born in Southfield, MI on January 26, 1930 a daughter of Sidney and Isabell (Swatz) Taylor. On November 22, 1949, she married Benjamin Franklin Bruce in Philadelphia, PA.

He preceded her in death on August 23, 1987. Evelin was a member of the Hartland Senior Center and the Red Hats. Prior to her retirement in 1989, she had been employed by Walgreens in Houston, TX.

Surviving is her brother, Sidney; nieces and nephews: Joyce (Lewis) Long, Laura Oprisiu, Karen (Ed) Ridalls, and Ronnie Taylor; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
