Obituary for Evelyn Fowler McKinney Evelyn Fowler McKinney, age 88 of Fort Payne, passed away on November 4, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. McKinney was born on April 21, 1930 to the late Mabern & Myrtle Barkley Fowler. She retired as a legal secretary from Kellett & Scruggs attorney’s office.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning starting at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Stevie & Kim McKinney and Michael & Diane McKinney; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Darien Bray; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph McKinney; brother, Edwin Fowler; sisters, Jimmy Sue Peoples; and granddaughter, Rachel Marie McKinney. Wilson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
