George C. Reynolds, age 83, of Cheboygan passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at his home. He was born November 9, 1934 in Cheboygan, the son of George F. and Elizabeth G. (Braham) Reynolds. On July 7, 1956 George married Mattie Brown who preceded him in death in 1993.

He then married Tina (Duffiney) LaLonde in 1995. George enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean War with the Air Police. He was honorably discharged in 1957.

He had worked at Tube Fab before going to work as a mechanic at Procter & Gamble, retiring in 1993. He had attended Northshore Community Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, rummage sales, tinkering with clocks, jigsaw puzzles and going for rides. Survivors include his loving wife, Tina, four children, Jeff (Shelley) Reynolds of West Bloomfield, Rita (Mike) Spray of Cheboygan, and Glen and Gregg Reynolds, both of Wyandotte, three step-children, Tom (Dana Aldrich) LaLonde of Carson City, Don (Jodi) LaLonde of Cheboygan and Ron (Karla) LaLonde, of Cheboygan, one brother, Bob (Mary) Reynolds of Cheboygan, grandchildren, Christopher (Carrie) Spray, Erica Kolaski, Jen Spray, and Joshua and Nathan Reynolds, several step-grandchildren including Daniel and Darren LaLonde and Alissa Hanel and great-grandsons, Max Banek and Nick, Matt and Noah Spray.

Besides his first wife Mattie, George was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will take place at Northshore Community Church on Saturday, May 5 at 11:00 AM with the family greeting friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
