Glorianne Whitcomb May 15, 1935 – January 06, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Glorianne Meyers-Anderson-Whitcomb 83 of Marinette passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, at BAMC surrounded by her family. She was born on May 15, 1935, to the late William and Emma (Paul) Meyers in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School in 1953. Glorianne married Andrew Anderson on August 29, 1953; he preceded her in death on April 9, 1976.

She had farmed with her husband for many years on the family farm which is still run by her son today. She later had worked for Pine View Health Care as a nurse’s aide for over twenty five years, retiring in 1993. On May 25, 1979, Glorianne married Michael Whitcomb at Porterfield Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, casino trips, Polka music, watching sports, and spending time with family, especially the grandchildren and her pets, Molly and Squeeky. Glorianne is survived by her husband, Michael of Marinette; sons, Rick Anderson of Marinette and Mark (Connie) Anderson of Porterfield; daughters, Laurie (Ron) Winters and Sandy Anderson both of Marinette; sister, Beverly Nyberg of Hayward; seven grandchildren: Andrea, Jason, Alycia, Jacob, Joshua, Andrew, and Ashley; and six great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jordan, Lily, Ethan, Landon, and Easton. In addition to her parents and first husband, Andrew, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Ken, Duane, and Leneil.

Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Friday , January 11th from 3-5pm. Funeral Services will be held at 5pm with Chaplain Craig Mansur officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and caregivers for their compassionate care.
