Behrendt 61 of Marinette passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at BAMC. He was born on February 23, 1957, to the late James and Frances (James) Behrendt in California. On March 13, 1976, Reuben married Billie Jo Anderson in Marinette; she preceded him in death on October 5, 2005.

He had worked as a painter at Marinette Marine since 1976. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and when his boys were younger demolition derby. Reuben is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Myra) Behrendt of Stephenson and Michael Behrendt of Marinette; five grandchildren: Katie, Brett, Jenna, Dylan, and Abby; great grandson, Bentley; and two brothers, Dawane and Dave Zarling.

In addition to his parents and wife, Billie Jo, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and John. Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21st from 4-6pm. Funeral Services will be held at 6pm with Jason Sallgren.

Burial will be at Mellen Township Cemetery.
