Obituary for Mr. Harry C. Owens Harry C. Owens, 85, husband of Margaret Owens, of 9060 Crystal Lane, Seneca, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Oconee County, Mr. Owens was the son of the late Harry C. Owens, Sr. and Sue Cox Owens. He worked as a supervisor with J. P. Stevens and was a member of North Walhalla Church of God.

Mr. Owens loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his wife, Mr. Owens is survived by his son: Terry L. Owens (Teresa) of Anderson, SC; daughter: Zan Southard (Merle) of Byron, GA; grandchildren: Brian Owens and Christmas Holly Southard; great-grandson: Braxton Owens; brother: Roderick Owens of Lilburn, GA; and sister: Peggy LeCroy of Seneca, SC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 10:00–11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, GHS Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Dr., Seneca, SC 29672. The family is at the home.
