Obituary for Helen Dunbar Helen “Ella” Dunbar was born July 4, 1924 in New Roads, LA. She departed this life on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Louisa Woods Christophe and Joe Christophe.

She was the wife of the late Henry Dunbar. Her memories will be cherished by her brother, Ewell Netter, Jr., her nephews; Thomas Netter, Alfred Jackson, Henry Louis Jackson, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters; Lucy Netter Jackson, Dorothy L. Netter, 4 brothers; Joseph and Wilson Christophe, Ernest Celestand and John L. Netter.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service held at Greater Mount Canaan Baptist Church, 5820, Evangeline St. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10:00am. Visitation from 9:00a, to 10:00am. Interment: Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, LA.
