Jack’s Obituary Jack Gene Foster, Sr., 91, of Valley View, TX, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Pilot Point, TX. He was born June 4, 1927 in Weston, TX to James Edward and Dassie (Phillips) Foster. Jack married Betty Jo Fritcher on November 2, 1949 in Littlefield, TX.

Jack is survived by his wife, Betty of Valley View, TX; son, Jack Gene Foster, Jr. and wife Della of Valley View, TX; daughter, Nancy McClain and husband David of Boyd, TX; seven grandchildren, Josiah Foster, Penny Green, David Foster, Courtney Fuqua, Nathan Foster, Keegan Foster, and Faith Foster; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Leighton Foster and wife Dorothy of Valley View, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dassie; grandchild, Talia McClain; two brothers; and four sisters. Visitation will be held 6:30PM-8:00PM, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX with Josiah Foster officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Mountain Springs, TX. Online condolences may be shared at www.
