Obituary for Mr. James Michael “Buzz” Buzhardt James Michael “Buzz” Buzhardt, 57, husband of Janet Kelley Buzhardt, of 175 Fulton Drive, Tamassee, passed away, Monday, July 16, 2018, Gulf Coast Reginal Medical Center located in Panama City, Florida A native of Batesburg, SC, Mr. Buzhardt was the son of Mae Williams Buzhardt and the late Jesse Theron “Jug” Buzhardt. He graduated from W. Wyman King Academy and in 1988 he graduated from Clemson University, where he was a member of the SAE Fraternity. Mr. Buzhardt worked for Duke Energy Hydro Station at Bad Creek.

He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Buzhardt is survived by his sons: Mayson and Cooper Buzhardt both of the home; daughter: Kelley Partin (Shawn) of Walhalla, SC; and one granddaughter: Rowan Partin. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Salem United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church. In lieu of the flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 520 Church Street, Salem, SC 29676. The family is at the home.
