Family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home Chapel in McAlester with Pastor Cliff House officiating.

Jeff was born on June 9, 1965 in Lynwood, California to Robert and Frances (Wilson) Mattias. He loved his family, music, sports and going to church. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas.

Survivors include his father and spouse, Robert and Lisa Mattias of Laguna Hills, CA; mother, Frances Mattias of Shawnee, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joann and Robert Haile of McAlester, Jennifer Mattias of McAlester, Julie Mattias of Shawnee, OK, Celynda and Derek Gooding of San Clemente, CA; brothers, Scott Mattias of Irvine, CA and Nick Dezember of Lagoona Hills, CA; nieces and nephews, Kara and Matt Henry, Khloe Haile, Haley Dan, Hannah Dan, Hayden Taylor, Jaxon Shawnee, Jarrett Shawnee, Jaylee Shawnee, Kalia Gooding and Leilani Gooding; great niece and great nephew, Maddux and Landri Henry. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Belmida and Albert Mattias and maternal grandmother, Lucille Wilson. Active pallbearers will be Robert Haile, Matt Henry, Rick Corder, Harvey Haile, Brad Haile and Frank Maffeo.
