Obituary Mr. John Wesley Wilder, affectionately called “Big John,” was born on October 17, 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the son of John Wesley Grant and the late Mary “Effie” Wilder. He departed his life on Friday, March 22, 2019.

John was a 1990 graduate of South Florence High School, where he was an all-around athlete. His gifts in sports included basketball, football and baseball.
