John O. Wunderlin, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at home. He was born in Lancaster, IL, on August 16, 1933, the son of Percey and Elizabeth (Yidey) Wunderlin. He married Irene Haumschild on January 31, 1954, and she preceded him in death on May 24, 2006.

John was a foreman at General Motors, retiring in 1992. John is survived by his 3 children: John (Marcia) Wunderlin of Ohio, Robert (Debra) Wunderlin of Janesville, and Ronda Wunderlin of Janesville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings: Roger Wunderlin and Gary Wunderlin; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene Wunderlin; daughter, Kelly Jo Burchfield; and brother, Richard.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at ST. PAUL’S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH with Pastor Dan Decker officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
