Joseph A. Drogo, 87, son of Mary (DiVincenzo) and Michael Drogo passed away peacefully on April 26, 2018 with his daughter by his side. He was born on September 28, 1930 and is best known for owning and operating Superior TV and Appliance in Phillipsburg, NJ for 50 years with his lifelong friend, John Delserro. Joe began building radios and transistors when he was very young.

He was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1948. He attended Penn State extension technical school in Allentown. He and John bought a van and ladders and started putting up antennas from a small shop prior to opening Superior.

His family includes his son, Joseph, his daughter, Carrie Beleno and son-in-law Tony, and his grandchildren Marc Beleno and Gianna Beleno and her fiancé Bill Neal. His family also includes his nephew Michael Drago and wife Carol and several other nieces and nephews, stepchildren Elena Carli and husband Mike, Valerie O’Connor and husband Jay, Carla Mann and husband Jerry, Brian Gray and their children and grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife Phyllis (Picone), sisters Mary Berardi and Lucy Sanguedohe and brothers Michael Drago, Leo and Anthony Drogo.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Paul’s III, Palmer Township. Joe will be best remembered as the guy who would drop everything to assist in a project or lend a hand. We are certain that God is employing him as the resident “fix-it man” and are honored to have known and loved him here on Earth.

Calling hours at the church will be 5-7pm May 9, 2018 and a memorial service May 10, 2018 at 10am at the church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton, PA 18040. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to ProJeCt of Easton for their food bank. (www.
