Joseph Tickamyer, age 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018, at Newburgh Healthcare. Joseph was born June 13, 1950, in Kansas City, KS, to Ray & Florence (Kerns) Tickamyer. Joe was a custodian for 36 years for the EVSC.

He worked at Fairlawn Elementary School and Washington Middle School. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandi Tickamyer, son, Joseph Edward Tickamyer, brother, Danny (Trinadad) Tickamyer, grandchildren, Haley Jo Luna (Adrian), Jessica Ellise Tickamyer, Hannah Monique Tickamyer, Tia Michelle Tickamyer, and great grandchildren, MacKenzie Luna, Xavier, Madelynn, and Sophia Tickamyer. He is preceded in death his son, Michael Tickamyer and parents.

Funeral Services will be Private. BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue are handling all arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to Newburgh Healthcare at 10466 Pollack Ave, Newburgh, IN 47630.
