OBITUARY Thelma Hofmann April 3, 1922 – September 11, 2018 Mary Thelma Hofmann, 96, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Parkview Care Center. She was born April 3, 1922 in Paducah, KY to the late Curtis and Mary Louise (Vessels) Garnett. She was a mother, homemaker and Avon sales representative for 25 years.

Thelma played in a few bridge clubs. She adored dancing and she and her husband went dancing every Saturday evening on their date night and every opportunity they had for 69 years. She enjoyed the theatre and traveled all 50 states and around the world.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Hofmann in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Hayes of Evansville; sons, Greg Hofmann (Candice) and Jeff Hofmann; grandchildren, Michael Hayes, Gretchen Blair, Catherine Hofmann, Lauren Hofmann, Nichole McClarney, Gabe Hofmann, Erin Buehner and Jacob Hofmann; 16 great-grandchildren, and a large extended family. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00AM, Friday, September 21, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 N. First Avenue, officiated by Fr.

Ted Tempel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 9:00AM until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church.
