Obituary for Joyce Henderson (McClellan) Joyce McClellan Henderson, 74, entered into rest on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Fred W. Henderson. The couple just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on March 11, 2018.

Joyce was born in Lancaster on February 21, 1944, daughter of the late Clarence and Florence (Bechtold) McClellan. Joyce was a billing clerk for Keystone Healthcare. She was a member of the Canadochly Ambulance Association and a dedicated donor of Animal Rescue, Inc

She loved spending time with her family and planning all of their family gatherings. In addition to her husband, Fred, she is survived by two daughters, Kathleen M. Henderson of Crestview, FL and Karen M. Misal, spouse of the late Charles W. Misal, Jr., who served in the USMC, of East Petersburg, PA; four grandchildren, SSgt. Matthew A. Schlotthauer and his wife, Amanda, TSSgt.

Joseph A Schlotthauer and his wife, Carin, Elizabeth N. Misal and her friend, Zach Cooper, and Amanda M. McFadden and her husband, Johnathan. Both Matthew and Joseph are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Abigail, Cayden, Liam, Samantha, and Gavin; and a sister, Doris H. Enck and her husband Calvin.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul McClellan. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Ironville United Methodist Church, 4020 Holly Drive, Columbia, with the Rev. Charles A. Deutsch and Pastor Rick Stuempfle officiating.

A visitation will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 am at the church. Burial will follow the service in Conestoga Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in memory of Joyce Henderson to Animal Rescue, Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Dr., New Freedom, PA 17349.
