Obituary for Katherine Ehrhart Katherine B. Ehrhart, 93, of York died April 14, 2018 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Ralph W. Ehrhart. Born July 8, 1924 in Barwalde, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Hedwig (Kuschel) Spillmann.

Katherine worked in the cafeteria of the York City School District for many years. She loved to garden and enjoyed sewing. She is survived by her son, Ronald B. and his wife, Cindy Ehrhart of York; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Caroline Baribault of Glastonbury, CT and Rosemary Barton of Bradenton, FL.

She was preceded in death by a brother and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market Street, York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to K9S For Warriors, 114 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081 or to Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York, PA 17403.
