Obituary for Leslie “Les” Lee Leslie E. Lee, 87, of Hellam passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Les was born in Illinois on July 22, 1930, the son of the late Esta and Hila (Pyles) Lee. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife, Jaynee (Irwin) Lee.

They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on August 5, 2017. He retired from Caterpillar in 1992 with 42 years of service. Les was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan since 1937.

He was a member of the Caterpillar Retirement Club and bowled in the Colony Park East Seniors League. In addition to his wife, Jaynee, he is survived by his 4 children: Judith Gann, Rick (Pam) Lee, York, Tammy (Barry) Eveler, Spry, and John Lee, Hellam. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Avenue, York, PA 17403. Go CUBS!
