Obituary for Joyce L. McCole Joyce Lynn “Joy” (Gerstner) McCole, 58, of Sagola, MI passed away January 4, 2019 after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Joy was born May 12, 1960 to the late Edward and Isabell Gerstner of Sagola. She is survived by her fiance, Rodney Stroud; one daughter, Elizabeth Gage; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Katie, Brianne and Cheyenne; two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Arnold; siblings, Robert (Robin) Gerstner, Allen (Eiko) Gerstner, Raymond Gerstner, Rita Robb, Ricky (Connie) Gerstner, Jeanine (Brian) Johnson, Randy (Linda) Gerstner and Rhonda Gerstner; many nieces and nephews and special people Brandon and Carrie Stroud and their children, Parker and Fulton.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Isabell, and two brothers, Ronnie and Clarence Gerstner. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from noon until 1:00 pm at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Sagola, MI. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at the church.

Rev. Ryan Flunker will officiate. A luncheon will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 9 Sagola, MI 49881. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Joyce McCole online at www. ernashfuneralhomes.com.
