Obituary for Judith Lynn Donald Clark Judith Lynn Donald Clark was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday July 7th, after battling cancer. She passed away in her hometown of Laurel, MS where she lived for all her 60 years. On June 9th, 1958 Judy was born in Laurel as the youngest of three daughters, to Dr. Bob and Mary Donald.

She graduated from Laurel High School in 1976. Judy worked as an administrative assistant at Dr. Donald’s dental office in Laurel. Judy was a kind, caring, and God-fearing woman.

She was a very active member of Franklin United Methodist Church. She loved the peace and serenity of the Smokey Mountains completing cross stitch patterns. Her favorite cross stich works were for baby blankets for all her nieces and her granddaughter.

Judy never wanted to be the center of attention, and would always look to put others before herself. This unselfish attitude carried over into her final wish by wanting her body to go for Cancer research in hopes that, through her body, they may find a cure so others can live. She loved her family and her friends with a deep and genuine love.

She was a dedicated daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong animal lover, particularly dogs. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Virginia Wilson Donald.

She is survived by her father Dr. Robert Lee Donald Jr. of Laurel, MS; her two sisters Kathy Wigley of Cumming, GA, and Cindy Powell of Vernon Hills, IL; her son Billy (Will) Clark, her daughter-in-law Shelley Clark, and her granddaughter Ellie Clark all of Alford, FL. Also surviving, are several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. There will be a Memorial Service held at Franklin United Methodist Church on Thursday, July 12th @ 11 am.
