Julia M. Maltzan “Judy” (nee Holahan), 88, on April 28, 2018 of Mahawah, NJ. Julia was born to James and Catherine Holahan in Englewood, NJ on May 16, 1929. She was predeceased by her husband Fred and her brother Lawrence Holahan.

Loving mother of Mary Anne (Thomas) Nardini of Mahwah, NJ, Catherine (Sherman) Farber of Chester, NY, Margaret Maltzan of South China, ME, Fred Maltzan (Irene) of Emerson, NJ and Rosemary (Joseph) Ciaudelli of Uncasville, CT. Adored grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law of William Maltzan (Jackie) of Andover, CT.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Julia was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Mahwah. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception RC Church in Mahwah. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julia’s name to Valley Hospice, 15 Es Road, Suite 301, Paramus, NJ 07652.
