Julie A Grant, age 58, of Frankton and formerly of Elwood passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital following an extended illness. Julie was born on September 4, 1959, in Elwood to the late Weldon and Jenene (Ring) Warner. Julie graduated from Elwood Community High School in 1977.

Julie enjoyed reading, Chicago Cubs, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Elwood. Julie is survived by her daughter; Katelyn Grant of Frankton, grandson; Aiden Alexander Jackson, sister; Tara Warner of Foley, AL, two brothers; Chris Warner of Alexandria and Tony (Vicki) Warner of Noblesville, two uncles; Edward Ring and John Raymore both of Anderson, , several nieces & nephews.

Julie was preceded in death by her father; Weldon Warner and mother; Jenene (Ring) Warner. Funeral services celebrating Julie’s life will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with Father Dan Duff of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 12:00 am – 2:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
