Junior Titus Wilson, age 89, of Windfall, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. He was born on November 7, 1928, to the late William and Grace (Daniels) Wilson. On May 27, 1950 he married the love of his life Frances Ellen(Wogerman) Wilson.

Junior retired from Hidson Brothers Construction where he worked as a contractor for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was proud to have been a member of the Honor Guard for General MacArthur in 1946. He was a member of the American Legion Post 777.

Junior liked old cars and especially loved the 1949 Packard that he owned. He enjoyed fishing and made many trips to Canada to fish. He enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with his grandkids.

He enjoyed playing cards, reading western paper back books, and watching westerns. He was a friend to everyone and everyone who knew him loved him. Junior is survived by his daughter, Tonia (Ron) Dunham of Kokomo, 5 grandchildren, Phillip T. (Jasper) Lunsford, Tia Braun, Julie Perry, Joseph Perry, III, Heather Perry, 3 great-grandchildren, Carley Braun, Cora Braun, and Lucy Braun, niece, Terrie Creech, 3 nephews, Charles Larry Rogers, Buddy (Judy) Rogers, Titus (Rosie ) Rogers and Randy (Susan) Rogers, and his furbaby, Molly.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Wilson and Grace Wilson, wife, Frances Ellen Wilson, son, Joseph Perry, Jr., daughter, Pamela Byers, 2 grandsons, Todd Lunsford and Timothy Byers, great-grandson, Luke Braun, 3 sisters, Ellen Rogers, Helen Shelton, and Lola Rogers, and nephew, Danny Rogers. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St. ,Elwood, Indiana. Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery and will include funeral honors by the United States Army and the Elwood V.F.W. Honor Guards.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. Online condolences can be given at www.
