Kenneth L. Baumer Jr., 73, of Hughesville, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his daughter’s home in Milton. Born on April 28, 1944 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. Baumer Sr. and Betty Gray Moyer. He attended Muncy High School.

Ken served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Brady Lodge 116 Independent Order of the Odd Fellows, Hughesville American Legion Post 35 and the Laborers Local 1180. Kenny was employed as a laborer on various construction sites.

He enjoyed working on antique cars, small engines and loved going to yard sales. He had a great love for his dogs, especially Patches. Surviving are his four children: Susan Bull and her husband Tim, Annette Welch and her husband Rob, Kenneth Baumer and his wife Stacy, and Karen Bottorf and her husband Jim; eight grandchildren: Daniel and Nathan Kilgus, Derek Bull, Kathleen and Kendra Baumer, Emma and Cody Saxton, and Delaney Bottorf; two great-grandchildren: Aleah and Cohen Saxton; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, April 25 at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St, Watsontown, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, April 26 with Pastor Bonni Lucas, St. John’s United Church of Christ, New Columbia, officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hughesville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in his memory by made to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd, Williamsport, PA 17701.
