Janet F. Derr, 83, of White Deer, PA passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. She was born September 27, 1934 in Allenwood, PA, the daughter of the late Richard B. and Jennie V. (Huff) Fisher of Watsontown, PA. She graduated from Bath Central High School, NY and then received training at Twin Lakes Vo-Tech, Harrison, AK.

She was employed by Baxter General Hospital as a nursing assistant and later worked at Baxter Laboratories, AK. She enjoyed crocheting, Bavarian painting, reading and gardening. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by two daughters, Darla Stafford of Watsontown and Belva (David) Delcamp of Berwick, a sister, Rinda (Bob) Lyman of Muncy, a brother, William (Debra) Fisher of Allenwood, six grandchildren, Jennifer John, Wendy (Eric) Warfield, Christopher (Britainy) Delcamp, Jeffrey (Sarah) Delcamp, Janine Brosius, Holly (Josiah) Raiche, and 12 great-grandchildren with another one expected in January. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Myrna Straub and her long-time companion, C. Franklin Snyder. There will be a graveside service conducted at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown, PA.
