Jerry Arthur Masser, 75, of Millville, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his home. Born March 23, 1943 in Allenwood, he was the son of the late Walter O. and Mildred (Kratzer) Masser. On June 3, 1961, he married the former Shirley J. Snyder and they have celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Jerry was a teamster and truck driver for over 40 years. He loved racing and rebuilding old cars and engines. He drove late models at Selinsgrove Raceway and enjoyed NASCAR racing.

He owned Masser’s Logging and enjoyed cutting firewood. Besides his loving wife, Shirley, he is survived by a son: Jerry Masser and his wife Cheryl, of Watsontown; daughter: Tammy and her husband Josh Hubbell, of Milton; grandchildren: Tatum (Laura, Briar), of Bloomsburg, Marti (La’Rayah), of Catawissa, Jeremy (Brielle, Jerricah), of Unityville; brothers: Jim Masser, of Milton, Walter, David, Danny and Joe Masser, all of Allenwood; and sisters: Lois Hook, Polly Cameron and Elsie Benfer, all of Allenwood. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dick, Andy Masser, Shirley Harer and Joyce Latshaw.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 5 PM on Thursday, June 21 at Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St, Turbotville, where the funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM with Pastor Robert L. Ayars, White Hall Baptist Church, officiating. Jerry loved animals and in lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations or supplies be sent to the Danville SPCA, 1467 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821, in memory of Jerry and his beloved dog Bing. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
