Redmond, 71, of rural Fairmount, passed away suddenly in the emergency room at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, at 2:26pm Friday January 25, 2019. Larry was born December 31, 1947, in Danville, IL, the son of Cecil & Thelma Lucille Jinkins Redmond. He married Margaret Heaton November 5, 1983 in rural Fairmount.

IL, Margaret survives, as well as 1 step-son, Jay Heaton of Georgetown, Illinois, 3 step-daughters: Lori (Steve) McKinney of Lovington, Illinois, Lisa ( Gary) Stanley of Attica, Indiana, and Nanci Heaton of Fairmount, IL. 2 sisters: Donna (Tom) Bennett of Cape Coral, Florida, and Phyllis Thomas of Hoopeston, IL 10 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great-grandchildren. Larry had worked for over 30 years for the Chuckles Candy Company in Danville, he enjoyed hunting, raising mules, and was a general all around outdoorsman, and loved woodworking.

Larry was a proud member of the NRA. Funeral services 1pm Wednesday at Robison Chapel in Catlin, Pastor Zach LeCrone to officate. Burial in the Pate Cemetery in rural Catlin.

Visitation is from 11am till 1pm on Wednesday at Robison Chapel. Memorials to the American Diabetes Assn in his memory. On-line condolences at www.
