Leonard Robert Mageski February 21, 1936 – December 17, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Leonard Robert Mageski, age 82, of Sandusky passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 in Zephyrhills Fl. Leonard was born February 21, 1936 in Ubly, MI to the late Steve and Constance (Lemanski) Mageski. He served his country in the United States Army for three years.

Leonard married Dorothy Balhoff on June 30, 1979 in Sandusky. He worked as a clerk for CSX Railroad in Detroit for 34+ years, retiring in 1996. Leonard was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Port Huron Moose Lodge #158.

He enjoyed golfing, dancing, hunting and fishing. Leonard is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy Mageski; two stepsons, Donald (Sandra) and Richard (Vicki) Balhoff; four brothers, Ernest, Elmer, Tony (Patricia) and Harold Mageski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Mageski, Jr. An Interment Service will be held in February at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

A Memorial Service will be held in Sandusky in the spring. Friends may share an online condolence at www. marshfuneral.com.
