Lewett “Jack”‘s Obituary MARION, VA Lewett Jackson (Jack) Farmer, age 89 formerly of Marion VA, passed away February 27, 2019 at his son’s home in Annapolis, Maryland. He was born on Oct 12, 1929 in Grayson County VA, to the late Roby and Cordellia Farmer. He had 10 sisters and two brothers.

Jack served in the U.S. Army and worked 20 plus years at the Southwestern State Hospital. He was at his best and happiest when helping others. Survivors include son Elmer Jackson Farmer and wife Gerrie of Annapolis, Maryland, daughter Nancy Vass and husband Gene of Elyria, Ohio.

Four grandchildren; Jennifer Mercado, April Rosas, Diana Lee, and Carl Vass. 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, special friend Betty Miller of Rural Retreat . Bradley’s Funeral Home of Marion is serving the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the national Kidney Foundation. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www. bradleysfh.com.
