Obituary for Linda D. Ruble (King) Linda D. Ruble, 76, of Murphysboro, passed away at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019, at her residence in Murphysboro. Linda was born on October 24, 1942, in Murphysboro, to Ralph Henry King and Pollie Mae (McFarland) King. She was a homemaker.

She enjoyed reading her Bible, painting, cooking and sewing. Mrs. Ruble was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship in Murphysboro. Linda married Gary R. Ruble on January 14, 1966, and he survives.

Other survivors include five daughters Cheryl Kay (Johnson) Brasel and her husband Butch Brasel, Teresa Ann (Johnson) Easton and her husband David Easton, Cindy (Ruble) Cochran and her husband Danny Cochran, Polly Ann (Ruble) Murray, and Janie Lynn (Ruble) Brown, all of Murphysboro; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two sisters Sue Hunziker of Murphysboro and Debbie Killian of DuQuoin; one half sister Doris Ogden. She was preceded in death by one brother Stan King, one half brother Billy King, and her parents. Her body will be cremated.
