Linda’s Obituary Linda Sue Ashby, 72, of Granite City, IL died on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at BJC Evelyn’s House in Creve Couer, MO. She was born on June 24, 1946 in Wheeling, W.V. to William and Virginia nee: Fuller Schehl. The loving mother worked for Animal House pet store in Pontoon Beach, IL.

She enjoyed caring for animals. Linda is survived by a daughter, Marie (Jake) Whited of Granite City, IL; 2 sons: Lane (Karen) Ashby of Palm Coast, FL and David Ashby of Granite City, IL; a brother, William Schehl, Jr of Granite City, IL and a sister, Sandra (Charles) Buford of Granite City, IL. Besides her parents, Linda is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Schehl and her former husband, Robert Ashby.
