Born in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of William and Maybelle E. (Poe) Wood. Lorena was a resident of the Blakeslee area for the past 9 years and prior to that she resided in Italy. Lorena worked as a beautician most of her life and she was of the catholic faith.

She is survived by 2 sisters: Dana C. Wood and Heidi M. Wood both of Solomons, Maryland. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with cremation to follow. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.
