Luke David Brugman age 27, a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly June 7, 2018 in Marquette, Michigan. Luke passed away near one of his favorite campsites surrounded by nature where he loved to be. Luke was born April 23, 1991 in Ishpeming, Michigan.

Luke had a passion for spending time in the garage working on vehicles, especially his truck. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, wheelin’, riding motorcycles, camping, grilling out, sitting around a bon fire, and pretty much anything that involved being outdoors and out in the woods. He spent a vast majority of his life surrounded by friends and family, all of whom he was very close with.

Luke’s quick witted sarcastic sense of humor kept those around him laughing; he had a big heart, he listened when needed and he was always there for those he loved. His big personality and smile will be forever missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Luke is survived by his parents, David and Marianne Brugman; his sisters, Kristin Brugman and Kaitlyn Brugman (Nate Tiefenbach); Grandmothers, Etta Jo LaFayette and Diana Kahler; uncles Daryl (Louise) Kobie, Jamie Kobie, Bruce Kobie, Donald (Lisa) Brugman; Aunts, Dianne (Ken) Holmes, Dawn (Mike) Hirronen, Shari Brugman (Andy Anderson), Kirsten Brugman; Nephew, Hunter Peacock; Nieces, Eastyn Peacock and Rylee Tiefenbach, and his dear friend Tiffany Fortin.

He also left behind his beloved companions Ozzie and Bella. Luke was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Charles Kobie, Donald Clarence Brugman, Kenneth D LaFayette; Aunt, Yvonne Kobie; Cousin, Adam Kobie. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm and a memorial service will follow at 7pm.
