Marie’s Obituary MARIE RIVET KOSLOSKEY age 91 of Waterford, formerly of Groton, passed away on Sunday evening, January 27, 2019 at the Groton Regency. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on December 15 1927 the daughter of Antoine and Marie Ann Lauzon Rivet.

Marie was married to Charles R. Kosloskey on May 2, 1948 in Sault Ste. Marie. Charles passed away on June 2, 2009.

For many years Marie was a teller for Hartford National Bank at the U. S. Submarine Base branch office and she had been a customer service representative for the former Groton Shop Rite store. Marie was also a member of the Fleet Reserve Branch 20 Women’s Auxiliary of Groton. She is survived by her son, Andrew and wife Paulette Kosloskey of Gales Ferry, her daughter, Janet of Dearborn, MI, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Charles D. Kosloskey and her brother Jaques Rivet. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at Scared Heart Church, 56 Sacred Heart Dr. Groton. Interment will be in Colonel Ledyard Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4 until 6 o’clock at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. Donations in her memory may be directed to either Sacred Heart Church or Seabird Enterprises, 169 Thames St, Groton, CT 06340.
