Obituary of Marti Wamsley Marti A. Wamsley, 34, Jonesboro, died at 7:59 a.m. from injuries she sustained in a car accident on Sunday, April 8, 2018, in Gas City. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on April 6, 1984, and was the daughter of Thomas Kincaid and Sherry (Peters) Shipley. On July 18, 2009, Marti married Robert Wamsley, and he survives.

Marti was a graduate of Mississinewa High School and was a shift leader in food service. She enjoyed playing video games, driving her car, and spending time with her family and friends. Marti will be remembered as a hard-working, loving, and caring mother and wife.

She is survived by her father, Thomas Kincaid, Hamilton, Ohio; mother, Sherry (Steven) Shipley, Gas City; son, Damion Wamsley; step-son, Ashton Wamsley; sisters, Becky Rumbaoa and Allison Sullivan; grandmother, Martha A. Kincaid; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; close friends, Megan and Brandy; and her dog, Ambro. Preceding her in death were her grandfather, Herbert Kincaid; maternal grandparents, Gorrell (Betty) Peters; and best friend, Aimee Lykins. The family will have a memorial visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

A Celebration of Life service for Marti will begin at 4 p.m. with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Online condolences may be made at www. nswcares.com.
