Obituary of Ruth Line Ruth A. Line, 78, Gas City, went to be with the Lord at 9:47 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion on February 8, 1940, to the late Howard and Audrey (Hill) Miller. On December 19, 1980, she married Michael Line, and he survives.

In 1984, Ruth retired from Foster-Forbes, where she was a forklift driver. She was a member of New Life Fellowship. Ruth will be remembered for how much she loved to talk and that she never met a stranger.

In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing, and gardening was another hobby that gave her great fulfillment. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and was involved in her church at New Life Fellowship. Ruth dearly loved spending time with her family and adored her grandsons.

Attending family functions was very important to her, and she especially looked forward to making fudge for Christmas, which was her favorite holiday. She will be missed by her children, Robert (Correna) First, Fairmount, Angie (Miguel) Estrada, Indianapolis, Angela (Michael) McCollum, Gas City, and Antony Lhamon, Gas City; grandchildren, Nicholas Estrada, Cody McCollum, and Connor McCollum; brothers, Ronald Miller, LaFontaine, Phillip (Mava) Miller, Gas City, and Conrad (Marie) Miller, Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were twin daughters, Melinda and Kimberly First; brother, Mike Miller; and sisters, Marilyn Garner and Pat Browder.

The family will have a Celebration of Life gathering from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at New Life Fellowship, 201 E. N. A St., Gas City. Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Memorial contributions may be directed to New Life Fellowship, 201 E. N. A St., Gas City, IN 46933.
