Mary Wilkerson, 66, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday April 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1952 in Fort Knox, prior to retirement she was a nurse for 20 years at Flaget Memorial Hospital, co-founder of Local Termite and Pest Control in 1984, and a member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Pauline Blackburn.

She is survived by her son, Billy (Angela) Travelstead of Willisburg; seven brothers and sisters, Virginia (Ed) Guilford of Sellersburg, Indiana, Elmer (Jerry) Blackburn of Simpsonville, Michael (Helen) Blackburn of Plant City, Florida, Barbara (Steve) Heitz of New Albany, Indiana, Paul (Lee Anne) Blackburn, Leo (Amy) Blackburn both of Louisville, and Pauline (Mark) Phillips of Floyd Knobs, Indiana; several nieces and nephews; and several special friends and caregivers. Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Willisburg Cemetery. Rev.

Rodney Lynch will officiate. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Monday April 23 and 9 to 11 am Tuesday April 24 at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
