Richard A. Morrell, 64, of Bardstown, passed away Monday May 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1953 in Louisville, and a lifetime member of Bethany Baptist Church in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Shirley Powell-Morrell; and brother, Larry Morrell.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Morrell of Bardstown; two children, Julie (Ancil) Watson, and John “Fiddy” Magee; and five grandchildren, Adrian and Harley Watson, Cameron Hester, and Hannah, and Kerigan Magee. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday June 1, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Pastor Jose Albovias will officiate.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Thursday May 31 and 9 to 11 am Friday June 1 at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go toward his service.
