Obituary for Melissa Dawn (Norris) Masters Melissa Dawn (Norris) Masters, age 63, of Erwin, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her residence. A native of Erwin, Melissa is a daughter of the late Butler Clayton and Ouida Catherine (Buchanan) Norris. She was a Registered Nurse who had a long career at the VA before her retirement.

She loved taking care of veterans. Melissa was an ER and ICU nurse and loved nursing and going to school. She was a member of Fishery Community Church and had many friends whom she loved.

Melissa Dawn (Norris) Masters leaves behind to cherish her memory: Husband of 48 years: Loyd Masters, of Erwin; Daughter: Sandra “Sandy” Ann (Masters) Miller and husband, Teddy, of Johnson City; Grandsons: Wade Daniel Miller, of Johnson City, Camen Andrew Miller, of Johnson City. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Melissa Dawn (Norris) Masters in a committal service to begin at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Art Gibson will officiate.

Those attending will meet at Evergreen Cemetery by 2:50 PM for the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in name to Fishery Community Church, 501 Fishery Community Church Road, Erwin, TN 37650. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
