Obituary for Michael Charles Treadway Michael Charles Treadway, 72, and a lifelong resident of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019. Mike was born on April 24, 1946, the son of W.C. and Katherine Harris Treadway. After a 45 year career in printing, Mike retired in 2005.

Nothing gave Mike more joy than planned family gatherings. His children and grandchildren will always cherish the memories of the fall festivals, the carnival games he made, luaus, cook outs and beach trips with their “Pe Paw”. Mike is survived by his wife of 37 years, Toni; his sisters, Patricia Dysart of Concord and Judy Reese of Georgia; his sons: James Michael (wife Jayne) Treadway, Patrick (wife Susan) McMakin, Charles (Suzanne) McMakin; and his daughters: Tamara (husband Donnie) Presson and Angie (Derek) Treadway.

Mike is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Mike’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for them and for Mike. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Wednesday, January 9, from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews, NC 28105.
