Michael J. Van Scyoc March 19, 1963 – February 24, 2019 Michael J. Van Scyoc, 55, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 12:59 pm in his home. Private family services were conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

He was born March 19, 1963 in Orange, California to Howard and Patricia (Robinson) Van Scyoc. Surviving are his father, Howard Van Scyoc of Michigan City, IN; sister, Kimberly (Jon) Farrell of Davenport, IA; two nephews, Justin and Ryan Farrell; and his companion, Chrissy Armstrong of Mishawaka, IN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Van Scyoc.

Michael was a postal clerk with the United States Post Service and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was an avid Cubs and Notre Dame fan and loved music and movies. Michael was very artistic and enjoyed painting.
