Norene Bylund Iverson , March 18, 1941 — March 09, 2019

Our dear sweet wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Norene Hilda Bylund Iverson, 77, of Pleasant Grove returned to her heavenly home, Saturday, March 9, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after complications from a pulmonary embolism. She had many health issues throughout her life but always had a non-complaining attitude. Norene was born March 18, 1941 in American Fork, Utah to Leslie Eric and Delila Hilda Anderson Bylund.

She married her sweetheart, Larry Iverson on December 23, 1961 in her parent’s living room in Pleasant Grove, while Larry was on leave from the Navy. Their marriage was solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in 2007.

Norene grew up in Lindon and Pleasant Grove, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School in 1959. She and Larry made their home in Pleasant Grove where they raised their six children. Norene worked at Larsen-Davis Laboratories.

She made many life-long friends through school and work. To know Norene was to love her. She made an impact on everyone she came in contact with.

She had an open-door policy to everyone and loved unconditionally, caring for her sister and her four children. Norene was one to never judge anyone and you could always count on her to show kindness and concern. Her family was her everything.

She is survived by her husband Larry of Pleasant Grove; six children: Shirell (Danny) Shelton; Cedar Hills, Suzanne (Brett) Jespersen, Pleasant Grove; Roslyn (Darcy) Mounteer, American Fork; Kurt (Shelly) Iverson; Pleasant Grove, Amy Iverson, Pleasant Grove and Jenny (John) Davis, Pleasant Grove; she was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren who loved and adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Gray and brother, Johnny Bylund. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Pleasant Grove East Stake Center, 825 South Loader Drive, Pleasant Grove.

Family and friends may attend a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Wednesday from 10-10:45 am prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
