Norma “Judy” Bennett Johnson October 05, 1933 – May 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Norma “Judy” Bennett Johnson, 85 years old, of 2526 North Main Street, Danville, VA, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Roman Eagle Nursing Home. Born October 5, 1933 in Keeling, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Bennett and Mattie Hargraves Bennett. She was married to the late John Earnest Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter, Gloria Crews (Berkley) of Danville, VA; one son, Kenneth Otis Johnson of Danville, VA; one granddaughter, Gia B. Crews of Danville, VA; one grandson, Shawn B. Crews of Danville, VA; two great-grandchildren, Tiana L. Cunningham and Shawn Berkley Crews and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Elrease “Jack” Bennett, Willard Lee Bennett and one grandson, Fabian Wimbush. Family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, Gloria Crews (Berkley), 143 Stonegate Way, Danville, VA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 12 Noon from Calvary Baptist Church, 218 Holbrook Street, Danville, VA with Rev. Arthur White, Eulogist. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Johnson Family.
