Obituary for Patricia A. (Coopman) Sydmark Patricia A. (Coopman) Sydmark, 79, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. Patricia was born on August 7, 1939, daughter of Catherine (Rodman) Lesandrini and the late Louis Lesandrini, Sr She graduated from Kingsford High School, Class of 1957, and began her work career at Champion, Inc., Miller Insurance Agency, and V.A. Medical Center in Iron Mountain, from where she retired in 2012 after 28 years of service as Ward Clerk in the Community Living Center Unit.

Patricia married Calvin Coopman, Sr. on June 25, 1960 at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 1987. She married Rudolph (Bud) Sydmark on April 19, 1991 at Sacred Heart Church in Aurora, Wis. , who passed away on February 23, 2016.

Patricia was a devout Catholic and active member of American Martyrs Church, the Serra Club and Ultreya community. She embraced her gift of nurture, taking care of and being always present for her family and friends. She prayed unceasingly, especially the Rosary and Marian devotions to our Mother Mary, Untier of Knots, for all those in need.

Pat greeted and bid farewell to all of whom she encountered with warm, lingering hugs. It was the happiness of others that gave her the most joy and serenity. She is survived by her mother, Catherine; two children, Cathy Hartenstein of Iron Mountain, and Calvin Coopman, of Iron Mountain; grandchildren, Jill Logsdon (Gabriel Vasquez) of Los Angeles, Alex (Nathan) Weatherbie of San Diego, and Laura Smart of Iron Mountain; great-grandchildren, Taylor Logsdon and Ty Weatherbie, as well as Sydmark children and grandchildren, and a special step-grandchild, Lynsey Sydmark; sisters-in-law, Yvonne VanPembrook, Karen (Bill) Broullire, Nancy (Al) Stuart, Mary Schultz, Holly (Ted) Gagnon, Ruth Ann (Rich) Straebel and Debbie (Don) Leitzke; brothers-in-law, Dan (Wendy) Zoeller, Bill (Tamara) Zoeller and Ron Brow; special nieces and nephews too numerous to list and best friend and partner-in-prayer, Tammy Lemanski.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Lesandrini, Jr. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 15 at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Msgr.

James Kaczmarek will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Breitung Township at the Quinnesec Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Rodman, Don Van Pembrook, Bill Broullire, Kris Lyman, Justin Degenaer, Nick Mellon, and Travis & Owen Siewert.
